Join our team as a Public Cleaner and help maintain the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of public spaces. This energetic position offers an opportunity to help create a welcoming environment for visitors, staff, and the community.
As a Public Cleaner, you will ensure that all designated areas are clean, well-maintained, and inviting. These areas include the lobby, restaurant, hallways, stairwells, washrooms, and amenities.
Required Availability
We are looking for a candidate who can work the following schedule consistently:
- Saturdays: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Sundays: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Mondays: 5:00 PM – 12:30 AM
- Thursdays: 5:00 PM – 12:30 AM

WHMIS Training and/or First Aid Training is an asset.
Cleaning experience is an asset but is not mandatory for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting floors, surfaces, restrooms, and common areas.
- Maintain cleanliness in high-traffic areas, such as lobbies, hallways, and stairwells.
- Handle waste disposal efficiently by emptying trash bins and recycling containers regularly.
- Use industrial cleaning equipment and supplies safely and effectively to ensure thorough sanitation.
- Follow established cleaning protocols for hospitality or industrial environments to meet health standards.
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly for quick resolution.
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as needed to maintain cleanliness standards.
