The Role

At Infinite Aged Care, our Hotel Services team plays a vital role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents. Opportunities are available across Housekeeping, Cleaning, and Laundry. Each position helps deliver quality hospitality services that support residents’ comfort, wellbeing, and daily living.

Our Housekeeping Assistants provide essential cleaning and laundry services. They maintain high standards of infection control and workplace safety. Key responsibilities include cleaning resident rooms, communal areas, dining rooms, administration offices, entrances, and outdoor spaces. They also provide laundry services to help ensure residents enjoy a comfortable and homely environment every day.

These roles are hands-on and physical. You will do a lot of bending, squatting, lifting, and pushing items to carry out your daily tasks safely. It is important that you can perform these tasks without risk of injury to yourself, your colleagues, or our residents.

About You

You are compassionate, service-focused, and enjoy working in a team environment. You have a positive attitude and strong communication skills. And you take pride in delivering excellent service, whether through cleaning, food preparation, or customer interaction.

At Infinite Age Care, we hire on attitude and aptitude. Therefore, you DO NOT need experience in the aged care sector. However, you need to be aligned with our philosophy and values. You also need strong communication skills, computer literacy, and a commitment to resident wellbeing, as well as the following:

  • Demonstrated cleaning, hospitality, food service, or customer service experience (preferred but not essential depending on the role).
  • Ability to work off-set checklists on a daily basis and follow agreed procedures for safety.
  • Ability to work with chemicals, hazardous products, and heated equipment in a very safe manner.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and high empathy, as interacting with residents is a daily occurrence.
  • Ability to turn up to shifts on time, be ready to start your shifts, and follow the day’s activities in a positive manner.
  • Adopt a safety-first approach to daily tasks and support colleagues at all times so everyone goes home safe and positive.
