What you’ll do
- Provide an exceptional level of customer service.
- Maintain a safe and efficient operation while following all Discovery Co-op, industry, and government policies, procedures, and standards, including established productivity standards.
- Be responsible for producing goods in a scratch-to-finish bakery. This includes ordering, receiving, measuring, baking, decorating, displaying, and pricing.
- May update and train all existing and new team members on proper techniques and new items and ensure correct procedures are followed.
- Perform general housekeeping duties, assist team members when necessary, and perform any other duties as assigned.

Who you are
You are looking for a career in Retail and:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be available to work evenings, nights, and weekends.
- Grade 12 is required.
- Postgraduate degree/diploma in baking from a recognized post-secondary institute.
- Journeyperson Baker.
- 2+ years of bakery experience.
- Co-operative retail experience is an asset.
- Cake decorating experience is an asset.
- Safe Food Handling Certificate is required.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, have good manual dexterity, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
